Golf Club of Avon

Golf has been an exciting tradition at the Golf Club of Avon since 1925. Located in the scenic Farmington Valley, the course is known for its many challenging holes that the average player will find a delightful test of ability from the middle or forward tees. Each of the holes is designed with multiple tees, and the course becomes a demanding challenge when journeying back to the championship tees.

On an ongoing basis Avon hosts on a rotating schedule many of the area's premier golf tournaments including the Connecticut Open, the state PGA Championship, the American Junior Golf Association Tournaments, and the prestigious state Women's Amateur Golf Championship. These events have added to the wide acclaim given to Avon as one of the finest courses in New England.

Avon's state-of-the-art golf facility offers complete clubhouse services, a fully stocked and staffed golf pro-shop, practice facilities including a driving area, chipping green and bunker, 80 new electric carts, and an expert professional instructional staff offering weekly clinics for beginning through advanced players.

The beautiful 27-hole layout offers the Club's members and their guests three separate and challenging 18-hole courses without a need for starting times. The environment at Avon is designed for the enjoyment of all family members with events scheduled for men, women, mixed groups, and junior golfers, providing lasting friendships that make golf at Avon a unique experience.
